Job summary

Digga Australia is seeking a Service Technician to join our Yatala team. You will service, inspect and repair Digga/Kanga products, diagnose faults and perform tests. Strong customer service and basic computer skills are essential, along with a forklift ticket and valid driver licence.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded with ability to service, inspect, diagnose and maintain Digga/Kanga products.
• Forklift ticket and manual driver licence required.
• Strong attention to paperwork and service reports.
• Willingness to undertake training and career progression.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and repairs on Digga/Kanga products including loaders and attachments.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault finding; devise test procedures and supervise tests.
• Complete all job paperwork, timesheets and service reports accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times and maintain professional appearance.
• Utilise basic computer skills for service records and data entry.

Job description

The opportunity now exists for a professional and driven Service Technician to join our Yatala team. The right candidate will be a mechanically minded person who will play a critical role in ensuring our customers’ needs are met by servicing, inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and preventative care of our Digga/Kanga products including loaders and attachments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out service and repairs
• Diagnosing and fault finding
• Devising test procedures and supervising test activities
• Completion of all paperwork relating to the completion of jobs, including timesheets, service reports and other required information.
• Providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Possession of a current forklift ticket and a manual driver licence
• Presentable and professional appearance
• You must be adaptable and display a high level of integrity, honesty, reliability and confidentiality at all times
• Basic computer skills
• Product knowledge in earthmoving attachments will be an advantage, as is an understanding of hydraulics, motors and electrical circuits.
