Job summary

Digga Australia on the Gold Coast is seeking a mechanically minded assembler to join our busy production team. The role focuses on assembling and disassembling a wide range of mechanical components in a safe, fast-paced environment.

On-the-job training is provided, forklift licence is an advantage, and you should be reliable, physically fit, and able to follow instructions to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanics or mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated experience and skill set relevant to assembly functions.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble a wide range of mechanical components.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and possessing a good work ethic.
• Physically fit and able to be on your feet most of the day.
• An ability to follow instructions, learn quickly and work unsupervised in order to meet deadlines.
• Reliable transportation.
• Forklift licence an advantage but not essential.

Job description

We are currently seeking a mechanically minded person for an Assembler role. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a safe and busy production environment and will not be afraid to get their hands dirty. They will be highly energetic, detail orientated and take pride in their work and working environment.

Whilst not essential, experience in mechanics or machine assembly would be highly regarded. On the job training is provided.
