Job summary

Haeusler's Group is seeking Diesel/Service Technicians to join the Shepparton Dealership. Full-time, part-time and casual roles are available, with training provided for success in the Agricultural, Automotive, Road Transport, Earthmoving or Vehicle Dismantling industries.

You will work on heavy vehicle service repairs and maintenance, with opportunities to relocate between group dealerships and access in-house and factory training, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in relevant field.
• Experience servicing heavy diesel products (advantage).
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform services, repairs and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment and John Deere Precision Ag products (workshop and field).
• Pre-delivery and setup of new John Deere equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service, technical support and advice.

The Role

We are looking for Diesel/Service Technicians/Mechanics to join our team specialising in Heavy Vehicle service repairs and maintenance. Relevant training will be provided for successful applicants from the Automotive, Road Transport, Earthmoving or Vehicle Dismantling Industry.

You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

• Performing services, repairs and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment and John Deere Precision Ag products (both workshop and field based)
• Pre-delivery and set up of new John Deere equipment
• Providing excellent customer service, technical support and advice to customers
• Participating in John Deere training programs
• Adhering to all health and safety policies, procedures and legislation
• Completing all required documentation such as timecards, service worksheets and warranty claims

To be successful you will need:

• Relevant trade qualification
• Experience servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products (not essential)
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Reliable, punctual and flexible (rostered weekend and on call work may be required)
• Self-motivated, organised with attention to detail
• Able to work within a team or independently
• Strong customer service focus and work ethic
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

We will strongly consider the following also:

• Experience with servicing and maintaining equipment in the Earthmoving, Automotive, Vehicle Dismantling or Road Transport fields
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment such as harvesters, large tractors, tillage and spraying equipment
• Previous experience servicing agricultural machinery or John Deere machinery
• Forklift licence
