Job summary

Haeusler's Group Echuca is seeking Diesel/Service Technicians to join our team. We recruit for agricultural, automotive, road transport, earthmoving and vehicle dismantling sectors, offering full-time, part-time or casual roles, with John Deere equipment focus.

You'll work on heavy diesel machinery, perform servicing and repairs, and benefit from on-site training, a company vehicle, mobile phone and tools, plus career progression within multi-site dealerships.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification and experience servicing heavy diesel products.
• Experience in agricultural, automotive, road transport, earthmoving or vehicle dismantling areas preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform services, repairs and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment and John Deere products.
• Pre-delivery and setup of new John Deere equipment.
• Provide customer service and technical support to customers.
• Participate in training programs and adhere to safety policies.
• Complete documentation such as timecards and service worksheets.

If you have experience in the Agriculture, Automotive, Road Transport, Earthmoving or Vehicle Dismantling Industry, have a relevant trade qualification and looking for a change we currently have full-time, part-time and casual positions available for Service Technicians at our Echuca Dealership.

The Role

We are looking for Diesel/Service Technicians/Mechanics to join our team specialising in Heavy Vehicle service repairs and maintenance. Relevant training will be provided for successful applicants from the Automotive, Road Transport, Earthmoving or Vehicle Dismantling Industry.

You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

• Performing services, repairs and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment and John Deere Precision Ag products (both workshop and field based)
• Pre-delivery and set up of new John Deere equipment
• Providing excellent customer service, technical support and advice to customers
• Participating in John Deere training programs
• Adhering to all health and safety policies, procedures and legislation
• Completing all required documentation such as timecards, service worksheets and warranty claims

To be successful you will need:

• Relevant trade qualification
• Experience servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products (not essential)
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Reliable, punctual and flexible (rostered weekend and on call work may be required)
• Self-motivated, organised with attention to detail
• Able to work within a team or independently
• Strong customer service focus and work ethic
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

We will strongly consider the following also:

• Experience with servicing and maintaining equipment in the Earthmoving, Automotive, Vehicle Dismantling or Road Transport fields
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment such as harvesters, large tractors, tillage and spraying equipment
• Previous experience servicing agricultural machinery or John Deere machinery
• Forklift licence
