Job summary

Hutcheon & Pearce, Australia’s largest family‑owned John Deere dealership, is hiring in Finley, NSW for workshop and field roles. Join a team working on advanced Agricultural, Construction and Forestry machinery with flexible full-time, part-time or casual options.

You’ll have opportunities for overtime, penalty rates, and on‑the‑job John Deere training to support your development. Training and support will help you move into John Deere careers and deliver quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Agricultural, Automotive, Heavy Vehicle or similar trade.
• Current driver’s license.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair Agricultural, Construction and Forestry machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carry out repairs in Finley workshop or in the field as required.
• Document service work and maintain accurate records.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing, servicing and repairing Agricultural, Construction and Forestry machinery
• Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Carrying out repairs and servicing in our Finley workshop and/or out in the field
• Working independently while being backed by the wider Service team
• Completing service documentation and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting our customers with quality workmanship and technical advice
• Sharing your knowledge and supporting apprentices and developing technicians

Who We’re Looking For

• Trade qualified in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Agricultural, Automotive, Heavy Vehicle or a similar trade.
• A current driver’s licence
• A commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• A team player who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge
