Job summary

Transwest Fuels in Tamworth CBD is seeking a full-time Site Manager to lead and coordinate all daily operations at the Tamworth site, including reconciliations, banking, staff management, WH&S compliance, stock control and food safety. The role demands a hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to implement and maintain company policies.

You will nurture a positive relationship with customers and suppliers, report accurately, and manage a diverse team while collaborating with the operations

Qualifications

• Experience in site management and hands-on leadership.
• Proven ability to manage staff and enforce WH&S compliance.
• Strong numerical skills for reporting and reconciliations.
• Ability to work flexible hours and after-hours as needed.
• Experience in food industry a plus due to on-site cafe.

Full time Site Manager position in the CBD of Tamworth.

Do you have experience as a category manager at a supermarket? Are you a shift manager at a Fast Food outlet?

This site has a full restaurant and takeaway food offer, so experience/qualifications in the food industry would be highly desirable.

This role requires a “hands‑on” approach and will involve all aspects of site management including, but not limited to:

• Daily Reconciliations
• Banking
• Staff management
• WH&S compliance
• Stock control
• Food safety compliance
• Implementing and maintaining company policies
• Maintaining a positive relationship with customers and suppliers

The successful applicant will have:

• A strong, team-based work ethic.
• Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of fuel industry point of sale and back office systems and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to successfully manage a diverse team of staff.
• The ability to work well with figures and report accurately.
• Flexibility in work hours and after hours availability.
• The ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines.
• A genuine desire to succeed in a management role.
