Freedom Fuels is seeking a Site Manager to lead a busy retail site in the Lockyer Valley region. Take ownership of day‑to‑day operations, people leadership, and the customer experience to drive commercial results.

You know how to lead from the front, bring the best out of a team and keep a busy retail operation running smoothly. You're comfortable making decisions, solving problems and taking ownership of the results.

Freedom Fuels is looking for a Site Manager in the Lockyer Valley region to lead the day-to-day operation of one of our retail sites and create a place where customers want to stop, refuel, recharge and come back again.

This is a genuine hands-on leadership role. You'll take ownership of your site, your team, the customer experience and its commercial performance - balancing people leadership with the practical realities of running a fast-paced fuel, convenience and food retail operation.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of the day-to-day operation and performance of your site across fuel, convenience and food

• Manage rosters, staffing and day-to-day priorities to make sure the site runs smoothly

• Manage stock, labour, wastage, expenses and operational standards with a strong commercial mindset
• Maintain high standards across the store, forecourt and food preparation areas
• Champion safety, compliance and food safety, ensuring risks are identified and acted on
• Handle customer feedback and operational challenges confidently and practically
• Look for smarter ways of working and opportunities to make your site even better

What you'll bring

• Experience leading a team in retail, convenience, food or fuel
• Proven ability to manage people and deliver strong operational and commercial results
• A practical, hands-on leadership style - you're happy to jump in when your team needs you
• Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy customer-facing environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coach, motivate and hold people accountable

• Food service experience is highly regarded, but not essential if you're willing to learn

Applicants must have a valid entitlement to work in Australia and be 18 years or older at commencement due to restrictions/requirements relating to the sale of particular products.

This position involves manual handling duties, requiring the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 kg occasionally and 16 kg regularly, in accordance with safe work practices.
