Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Service Owner for Data Integration Platforms in Sydney, responsible for the operational support, reliability and performance of our data integration portfolio including Informatica IICS and IBM Sterling MFT. This senior role coordinates L2 and external partners to restore service and deliver sustainable resolutions, while driving automation, observability and SRE-aligned practices.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting enterprise data integration platforms.

• Strong experience in incident, major incident, problem, change and service level management.
• Ability to lead complex technical investigations and coordinate restoration.
• Experience managing suppliers and vendors against service commitments.
• Understand operational risk, vulnerability management, controls, audit and compliance obligations.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, automation and DevOps.
• Excellent stakeholder communication explaining issues and impact.
• Proven ability to lead across multidisciplinary teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of Informatica Cloud Services and/or Sterling MFT.
• Experience with secure agents, integration workflows and partner connectivity.
• Experience applying SRE practices to production support.
• ITIL, Informatica, Sterling, cloud, SRE or cybersecurity qualifications.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments, preferably financial services.

Responsibilities

• Owns operational support, reliability and performance of the Data Integration Platforms portfolio.
• Acts as senior escalation point for complex issues and coordinates L2 teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Provides governance over incidents, problems, changes, vulnerabilities and audit actions.
• Drives automation, observability, AIOps, DataOps and SRE-aligned practices.
• Leads across multidisciplinary teams and manages supplier performance.
