Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in NSW is seeking a maintenance-focused service professional to support the Branch Manager and Service Coordinator. You will supervise day-to-day service activities, including overhauls, breakdowns and routine maintenance of compressed air equipment, either in CAPS workshop or on customer premises.

The role requires coordination with customers and a strong emphasis on safety, quality workmanship, and timely service delivery, with opportunities for training and skill development.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanical or electrical trade with emphasis on service/maintenance.
• Experience in maintenance field service is required.
• Evidence of safe working practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day service activities including overhauls, breakdowns and repairs.
• Prepare service repair estimates with Branch Manager.
• Liaise with customers to ensure timely, professional service.
• Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct commissioning and warranty registrations when required.
• Recommend tools and equipment purchases and ensure maintenance/calibration of diagnostic tools.
