Job summary

Ingersoll Rand plc is seeking a skilled field service technician to perform complete mechanical repair, overhaul and maintenance of compressed air equipment and generators. You will troubleshoot issues, carry out scheduled maintenance, replace parts, and complete reports with accuracy.

This role involves travel to customer sites across Australia, working indoors and outdoors in demanding environments, with safety first, and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance field service environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
• Excellent customer service ability.
• Experience with Pneumatic Equipment.
• Skills in fault finding in Compressed Air Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems in air compressors and generators through troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Perform repairs to rectify issues and ensure equipment functionality.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimise performance.
• Provide technical assistance to customers on maintenance procedures and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate service records, including diagnoses, repairs and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols, complete JSA and wear PPE.
• Attend training and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Travel to customer sites for service calls, with possible overtime or weekend work.
• Support company growth by delivering excellent customer service.
