Job summary

MedHealth is seeking a Service Manager to lead Job Coaches and InWork Support Consultants across our Mackay sites. You will drive performance, manage service delivery, and ensure compliance while building strong relationships with Services Australia and local partners.

The role focuses on team development, forecasting, budgeting and achieving profitability, with a commitment to our values and community impact. A current driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams or multiple sites.
• Strong leadership and coaching capability.
• Commercial acumen with budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
• Stakeholder engagement with Services Australia and community organisations.
• Ability to drive KPI and high-quality outcomes.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Job Coaches and InWork Support Consultants across locations.
• Drive performance, achieve KPI targets and sustainable employment outcomes.
• Oversee service delivery, workflow and client experience across sites.
• Ensure contractual compliance with Employment Services requirements and audits.
• Manage financial performance including forecasting, budgeting and ESA profitability.
• Recruit, induct and onboard new team members; coach through Managing for Excellence.
• Build relationships with Services Australia, employers and community partners.
• Identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement; promote the values.

Job description

We're now seeking a Service Manager to lead Job Coaches and InWork Support Consultants at our Mackay site. If you're a people‑leader who thrives on performance, compliance, community engagement and developing capability, this role offers purpose, variety and impact.

In this multi‑site leadership role, you will:

• Lead, coach and develop Job Coaches and InWork Support Consultants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
• Drive performance across all ESAs, ensuring KPI targets, placement outcomes and service standards are consistently exceeded
• Oversee service delivery, workflow and client experience across multiple locations
• Ensure full contractual compliance with Employment Services requirements, including audits, quality standards and documentation
• Manage financial performance including forecasting, budgeting and achieving ESA profitability targets
• Recruit, induct and onboard new team members and manage performance through regular coaching and the Managing for Excellence framework
• Build strong relationships with Services Australia, local employers and community partners
• Identify operational risks, compliance issues and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Promote a values‑driven culture grounded in Integrity, Compassion, Determination and Thriving Together

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Experience managing teams or multiple sites
• Strong leadership capability with experience in coaching, performance management and operational delivery
• Commercial acumen and confidence managing budgets, forecasts and financial KPIs
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with Services Australia and community organisations
• Ability to work to KPIs and lead others to deliver high‑quality outcomes

• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
