Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking a Service Manager to lead Job Coaches and InWork Support Coaches across multiple sites in Auburn, Berala, Chester Hill, Parramatta. You will drive performance, maintain compliance, and foster community partnerships to deliver meaningful employment outcomes.

You will manage budgets, forecast and ensure service standards while developing capability and maintaining the values of Integrity, Compassion, Determination and Thriving Together.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of improving performance.
• Experience working with government or employment services is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple sites, ensure compliance and drive KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Job Coaches and InWork Support Coaches to achieve employment outcomes.
• Drive performance across ESAs, ensuring KPI targets and service standards are met.
• Oversee service delivery, workflow and client experience across locations.
• Ensure contract compliance with Employment Services requirements, including audits and documentation.
• Manage financial performance including forecasting, budgeting and ESA profitability.
• Recruit, onboard and develop team members using the Managing for Excellence framework.
• Build relationships with Services Australia, employers and community partners.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Job Description

We’re now seeking a Service Manager to lead Job Coaches and InWork Support Coaches across multiple sites in Auburn, Berala, Chester Hill, Parramatta. If you’re a people‑leader who thrives on performance, compliance, community engagement and developing capability, this role offers purpose, variety and impact.

In this multi‑site leadership role, you will:

• Lead, coach and develop Job Coaches and InWork Support Coaches to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
• Drive performance across all ESAs, ensuring KPI targets, placement outcomes and service standards are consistently exceeded
• Oversee service delivery, workflow and client experience across multiple locations
• Ensure full contractual compliance with Employment Services requirements, including audits, quality standards and documentation
• Manage financial performance including forecasting, budgeting and achieving ESA profitability targets
• Recruit, induct and onboard new team members and manage performance through regular coaching and the Managing for Excellence framework
• Build strong relationships with Services Australia, local employers and community partners
• Identify operational risks, compliance issues and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Promote a values‑driven culture grounded in Integrity, Compassion, Determination and Thriving Together

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Strong leadership capability with experience in coaching, performance management and operational delivery
• Commercial acumen and confidence managing budgets, forecasts and financial KPIs
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with Services Australia and community organisations
• Ability to work to KPIs and lead others to deliver high‑quality outcomes
• A current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Employment Services Experience highly regarded
