Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking a compassionate Job Coach to empower clients to develop job-readiness skills and pursue meaningful employment. You will join a values-driven team focused on integrity, compassion, determination, and thriving together as you support communities.

You will motivate clients, collaborate with employers, and maintain records to ensure compliant outcomes, contributing to sustainable employment for people facing barriers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to stay organised in a structured, goal-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and coach clients through tailored activities supporting their employment journey.
• Work with employers and the Employer Engagement team to connect clients with job opportunities.
• Help secure sustainable employment outcomes and provide support when clients are at risk of losing work.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to link clients to programs and services.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance requirements are met.

Job Description

You'll empower clients to build confidence, develop job-readiness skills and take steps toward meaningful employment. Every day, you'll see the impact of your work in the lives of the people you support.

In this role, you will:

Qualifications

You don't need Employment Services experience, we provide full training.
You will bring:

• Experience in customer service or a client-facing role.
• A genuine interest in supporting people overcoming barriers.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders.
• The ability to stay organised and work in a structured, goal driven environment.
