Job summary

Camp Australia in Novar Gardens, Adelaide, is seeking a skilled childcare leader to design a safe, engaging program for primary-aged children before school, after school, and during holidays. You will lead a dedicated team of educators and foster strong ties with families and the local school community.

You will plan daily activities, prepare healthy snacks, and ensure compliant practice while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability from 7:00 am - 9:00 am and 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program for primary-aged children.

At Camp Australia, children are at the centre of everything we do, guiding their growth before school, after school, and during the holidays. At our service in Novar Gardens, you’ll lead a passionate team of educators dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space where children can relax, have fun, and flourish.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

This one-time taxable bonus will be paid to you at the end of your probation period, provided you are actively employed with Camp Australia and not within notice at this time.
