Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking an enthusiastic educator in Gorokan, NSW to lead a warm, engaging program for primary-aged children before and after school and during holidays. You will design activities, ensure safety and compliance, prepare healthy snacks, and build strong relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

The role requires a Diploma or current study in childcare, valid checks, and availability for morning and afternoon shifts, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and engaging approach to childcare and strong relationship-building skills.
• Diploma or currently working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• National safety training and first aid/certifications or willingness to obtain.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check(or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
