Job summary

GoodWe Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Junior Engineer to join our growing team. The role offers flexibility with remote work and occasional travel across Australia, ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their career.

You will provide tele- and on-site technical support, assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and firmware/hardware updates for PV strings, hybrid/storage inverters, and BESS. Reporting issues to head office with clear descriptions is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical or electronics.
• Preferred 1 year solar industry experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated and quick learner.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Driver's license required.

The Role

Goodwe has a dedicated team for Australia and New Zealand and are looking for a Junior Engineer to join the team, in-line with the company growth. This position is flexible in Australia with periods working from home and occasional travel. This role would suit a recent university graduate or someone early in their career and looking for a position that could grow over time.

Key responsibilities：

Responsible for the tele- and on-site technical support and post sales support.

Commissioning, troubleshooting, firmware/hardware updating of PV string, Hybrid / storage inverter and BESS.

Qualifications & Requirements：

Bachelor degree or above: must be electrical or electronics background.

Preferred minimum 1 year of working experience in the solar industry especially dealing with product trouble shootings

Strong ability to analyse and solve problems independently.

Reliable and self-motivated

The ability to learn new technologies quickly

Strong Microsoft office skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment,
