Job summary

The Country Fire Authority in Victoria is seeking a senior policy and workforce planning specialist to support the Chief Officer and other senior leaders. You will work across strategic workforce planning, leadership development and governance initiatives in a high-profile environment, coordinating with multiple locations across Melbourne.

You will lead research, prepare reports and briefings, provide Secretariat support to senior forums and help ensure sound judgement on confidential matters

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic workforce planning and governance.

• Experience liaising with government agencies and senior leaders.
• Tertiary qualifications in business admin or project management.

You will lead research and analysis, prepare high-quality reports, briefings and formal documentation, provide secretariat support to senior forums and coordinate workforce planning activities.As a trusted advisor, you will manage sensitive and confidential matters requiring sound judgement, professionalism and discretion. You will work closely with the Chief Officer, Deputy Chief Officers and key stakeholders to support organisational priorities, quality assurance activities and strategic projects.This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to community safety across Victoria while working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
