Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets in Queensland's Proserpine region is seeking a motivated supermarket supervisor to oversee a busy fresh foods department. You will lead a small team, manage ordering, cost control and gross profit, and schedule rosters while delivering outstanding customer service in-store.

The role requires a hands-on attitude, passion for fresh food, and the ability to liaise with staff and management to tailor services for local customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fresh food retail operations is essential.
• Experience supervising a team in a retail environment is preferred.
• Understanding of stock ordering, cost control and gross profit is important.
• Ability to roster staff accurately is advantageous.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, hands-on leadership and commitment to customer service are essential.
