Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Service Contract Specialist to lead the commercial management of service contracts across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. You will partner with site personnel, planning and reliability teams, and customers to ensure delivery in line with agreed terms, KPIs and value delivery.

The role spans the full contract lifecycle, combining commercial ownership with practical operational support, enabling safe, reliable service delivery and profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in contract, project or service management gained through hands‑on experience in the mobile mining and construction equipment maintenance sector.
• Commercial acumen with ability to balance customer, operational, and commercial priorities, interpret obligations and drive improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with reporting experience using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of service contracts, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines and KPIs.
• Coordinate contract mobilisation, implementation, reviews and close-out activities.
• Monitor performance, profitability and compliance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead contract review meetings with customers and internal stakeholders, reporting on performance and commercial outcomes.
• Manage contract variations, rate adjustments and renewals with governance approvals.
• Support tender submissions and contract renewal activities.
• Maintain contract documentation for compliance and audit.
