Sandvik Mining seeks a Service Contract Specialist to drive the implementation and commercial management of service contracts across Australia, New Zealand and PNG. You will work with site teams, planning and reliability groups, and customers to ensure contracts meet terms, KPIs and profitability.
The role spans the full contract lifecycle with a focus on safe, reliable service delivery, governance, reporting and continuous improvement.

The Service Contract Specialist is a key Sandvik representative for the implementation and commercial management of service contracts within the region. The role works closely with site-based service personnel, the planning and reliability teams, commercial team and customers to ensure contracts are managed in line with agreed terms and conditions, deliverables, KPIs, value delivery, reporting requirements and continuous improvement commitments. It spans the full contract lifecycle and combines commercial ownership with practical operational support. In doing so, the role underpins safe, reliable and consistent service delivery for customers across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, and protects both contract compliance and profitability.
A results-driven professional with a strong foundation in contract, project or service management gained through hands-on experience in the mobile mining and construction equipment maintenance sector.
Demonstrated commercial acumen, supported by the ability to balance customer, operational, and commercial priorities, interpret contractual obligations, analyse operational and financial performance, and drive innovation across operations. Recognised for building productive stakeholder relationships, influencing outcomes, resolving issues effectively, and managing competing priorities in complex operational environments.
High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with essential skills in Excel, Outlook, and Teams, and working knowledge of PowerPoint and Power BI for reporting purposes. Qualifications in Project Management, Business, or a related discipline will be highly regarded. Flexibility and willingness to travel as required to support operational and customer needs across the regions.
