Job summary

Hutcheon & Pearce, Australia’s largest family-owned John Deere dealership, seeks a proactive Service Advisor for our Gunnedah team. You’ll be the link between customers, Service Technicians and the Service Manager, keeping the workshop running smoothly and delivering outstanding service.

You’ll book repairs, prepare quotes, manage work orders, and keep customers informed of progress while assisting with invoices and warranty claims. Prior dealership or admin experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic data entry.
• Experience in administration or dealership environment preferred.
• Trade qualifications welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and coordinate service enquiries.
• Book customer machines in for repair and maintenance work.
• Prepare service quotations and repair estimates.
• Open, manage and close work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Keep customers informed on job progress.
• Assist with warranty and product improvement claims.
• Support invoicing and ensure documentation is complete.
• Maintain service records and departmental reporting.
• Track service department performance, productivity and KPIs.
• Support Service Manager with day-to-day workshop administration.
