Job summary

Sunstate Motorcycles in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Service Advisor and Workshop Controller to join our busy dealership. The role combines customer-facing service advice with day-to-day workshop workflow control.

You will be the main point of contact for service customers, manage bookings and quotes, and oversee technician utilisation to keep the workshop on time. A background in motorcycle services and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor or Workshop Controller or similar in a dealership.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for service customers: booking jobs, quoting and updates.
• Control workshop workflow, job allocation and technician utilisation.
• Prioritise work to keep the workshop running efficiently and on time.
• Liaise between customers, technicians, parts and sales teams.

Sunstate Motorcycles is looking for an experienced Service Advisor and Workshop Controller to join our busy dealership in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.

These are key roles in our workshop, combining customer-facing service advice with the day-to-day control of workshop workflow. We are a successful family-owned multi-location group with stores across the Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast and Gold Coast.

In this role you will

Be the main point of contact for service customers - booking jobs, quoting, and keeping customers informed

Control workshop workflow, job allocation and technician utilisation

Prioritise work to keep the workshop running efficiently and on time

Liaise between customers, technicians, parts and sales teams

Upsell servicing, maintenance packages and accessories where appropriate

Maintain high standards of customer service, organisation and workshop presentation

About you

Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Workshop Controller or similar role in a motorcycle, automotive or marine dealership

Strong customer service and communication skills

Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy workshop

Computer literate (DMS experience highly regarded)

Calm under pressure, accurate and professional

Current driver's licence, and motorcycle licence

Motorcycle or powersports experience is highly regarded but not essential - the right attitude, organisation and customer focus matter most.

This is a full-time role based at our Maroochydore dealership on the Sunshine Coast.
