Job summary

Frizelle Sunshine Automotive in Tweed Heads is seeking a Service Advisor to be the friendly face of the service department, connecting customers with the workshop and ensuring they feel heard and confident in the care their vehicle receives.

You will greet customers, collect faults, present quotes, and keep clients updated on progress, while coordinating bookings and loan vehicles to keep the department running smoothly. A current driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role.
• Ability to explain vehicle servicing processes in plain language.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple customers and jobs.
• Comfort with dealer management systems or quick to learn new software.
• Current and valid driver’s licence.
• Genuine commitment to delivering a great customer experience.

As the face of the service department, you will be the key link between customers and the workshop, making sure every vehicle owner leaves feeling heard, informed, and confident in the care their car has received.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Greeting customers and accurately recording vehicle faults, so technicians have everything they need to do their best work
• Preparing and presenting service quotes, giving customers clear and honest information about costs and timeframes
• Following up on vehicle progress throughout the day, keeping customers updated so there are no surprises at pick-up
• Coordinating loan vehicles and workshop bookings to keep the department running efficiently
• Identifying additional service needs and recommending solutions that genuinely benefit the customer
• Building repeat business through consistent, trustworthy service that brings customers back

You are someone who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and finds satisfaction in solving problems for people.

We are looking for someone who can bring:

• Previous experience in a Service Advisor or customer-facing automotive role
• A sound understanding of vehicle servicing processes and the ability to explain them in plain language
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers and jobs at once without losing attention to detail
• Confidence using dealer management systems, or the ability to pick up new software quickly
• A current and valid driver's licence
• A genuine commitment to delivering a great customer experience every time
