Job summary

Gold Coast Patrols And Mechanical is seeking a capable receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers across Movin Mobile Mechanic and GC Patrols. You will answer calls, guide customers through vehicle issues and book jobs into both the mobile and workshop calendars, ensuring details are logged against jobs and customer records.

You will relay accurate information to mechanics, maintain call notes, and follow up on missed inquiries.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge — trade background, parts experience, service desk experience, or a genuine 4WD/automotive background
• Strong time management — juggling two brands, a mobile schedule and a workshop calendar
• Confident, friendly phone manner
• Accurate note-taking and attention to detail
• Comfortable with booking systems and basic computer work

We run two busy Gold Coast automotive businesses — Movin Mobile Mechanic (mobile servicing, repairs and pre-purchase inspections across the Gold Coast and Tweed) and GC Patrols & Mechanical (Nissan Patrol specialist workshop in Burleigh Heads doing engine conversions, rebuilds and 4WD work). The phones don't stop, and we need someone sharp to run them.

About the role

You'll be the first voice customers hear across both businesses. You'll answer inbound calls for Movin Mobile Mechanic and GC Patrols, talk customers through their vehicle issues, book jobs into the calendar and manage the daily schedule for the mobile mechanic and the workshop, take clear detailed call notes and log them against jobs and customer records, pass accurate info to mechanics so they turn up prepared, and follow up missed calls and enquiries.
