Job summary

mycar is seeking Mobile Automotive Technicians in Queensland. You will start your day from home, visit customers on-site in a fully equipped company van, and perform efficient professional workmanship including inspections and reporting on customer vehicles.

You will deliver allocated jobs, perform basic service checks, manage parts and stock, and conduct tyre/service audits, while contributing to a supportive, team-driven environment with ongoing training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Motor Mechanic Trade Certified
• Experience managing and training team members
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
• Knowledge of a wide variety of vehicles
• Air conditioning and RW licence (preferred not essential)
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Responsibilities

• Attend to delivery of allocated jobs and perform complete motor vehicle inspections and reports
• Review customer vehicles at a basic level for upcoming services including tyre checks and brake replacements
• Collect stock from stores and parts from suppliers
• Complete tyre and service audits and manage ad hoc duties as required

Position Overview

As one of our Mobile Automotive Technicians you will be responsible for efficient professional workmanship, complete motor vehicle inspections and associated reporting of work required/undertaken on our customer's vehicles.

Your day to see will see you attending to the delivery of allocated jobs, reviewing customer vehicles at basic level for any upcoming services, including tyre checks, brake replacements etc. You will collect stock from stores and parts from suppliers and complete tyre and service audits while managing additional/ad hoc duties as and when required.

Success Profile

• A current Motor Mechanic Trade Certified
• Previous experience managing and training team members
• Valid AustralianDrivers Licence with a clean driving record
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet
• A customer-centric mindset and a passion for assisting others during challenging situations
• Knowledge and experience in working with a wide variety of vehicles
