Job summary

Elmo is hiring a Workday Test Lead to drive testing on a multi‑phase HCM implementation in Sydney. You will write and execute tests, coordinate SIT/UAT, and partner with the implementation team to ensure quality across Core HCM, Recruitment and Onboarding.

In this hands-on role you’ll manage test strategies, report progress, and own defect triage. The position offers hybrid work with three onsite days, and exposure to integrations with payroll and identity systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday testing experience with HCM modules.
• Ability to design test strategies for functional, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Experience coordinating SIT and UAT with business users and partners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead testing across Workday Core HCM, Recruitment and Onboarding.
• Write and execute functional and integration test scripts yourself.
• Build test strategies and scenarios covering functional, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Coordinate SIT and UAT with HR teams, business process owners and the implementation partner.
• Run defect triage and push issues through to resolution with the partner.
• Test integrations between Workday and connected systems such as payroll and data platforms.
