Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior WorkCare Claims Management Consultant to lead end-to-end injury management and claims processing in Horsley Park, NSW. You will implement early intervention strategies and coordinate IMEs, ensuring compliant records and timely return-to-work programs.

You will partner with stakeholders across the business, apply SRC Act guidelines, analyse claims data, drive process improvements, and contribute to employee wellbeing through a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in workers' compensation claims management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of workers' compensation legislation and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end injury management and claims processes in line with legislative and internal requirements.
• Implement early intervention strategies to support optimal claim outcomes.
• Facilitate safe, durable, and timely return-to-work programs.
• Assess, accept, or deny claims in accordance with SRC Act guidelines.
• Coordinate Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and review medical reports to determine liability.
• Provide expert advice to stakeholders throughout the claims and rehabilitation process.
• Maintain accurate and compliant claim records within claims systems.
• Engage and manage rehabilitation and treatment providers.
• Support injured workers through legislative and administrative requirements.
• Ensure data integrity, accurate claim classification, and reporting.
