Work closely with partners, mentors, and a senior team to deliver fast, high-quality sites that convert. The role blends design and development, with ownership of the craft and a hands-on approach to every project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and building websites with a strong portfolio.

Senior Web Designer & Frontend Developer

You'll autonomously design and build websites for new recruitment agencies, end to end. Working closely with each new agency, you'll take their loose concepts and turn them into tight, elegant, powerful websites that convert, on a timeline that brings energy and excitement to every build.

This is a rare design, build and client-conversation role. You get to shape the first days of a new business.

The website is where the whole thing stops being a plan and becomes a company. It's the first thing a candidate sees. It's the link a founder sends to their family. You make that.

You'll design it and you'll build it. Same person, same site, start to finish. No handing a concept to a developer, no inheriting someone else's markup, and no internal approval queue between you and a decision. The partner signs off at each phase; nobody else needs to.

Ownership doesn't mean isolation. You'll sit inside a hands-on team of senior designers, with a brand designer shaping visual direction on every build and the rest of the team close enough to pull into a problem when you want a second pair of eyes.

The pace is quick and the work is real. Nothing you make sits in a folder waiting on a decision. It goes live, it carries a business, and then you start the next one.

What you'll do

Design

Take part in, contribute to, and occasionally lead brand workshops with new partners

Take each site from concept, through development to the live site

Bring partners' concepts, hopes and dreams into reality through a structured process

Design every site from scratch, based on your knowledge of the industry, best practice, current trends, and what will convert best for that partner.

Build

Build in Webflow using the Lumos framework

CMS integration and API calls so a strong technical knowledge is a must-have.

Bring an eye for detail to development. We work to best practice on every project.

Partners

Build and own the relationship from day one as the industry expert: lead each phase of the design process, get sign-offs, manage feedback, and keep partners across the project for absolute clarity. Most relationships are ongoing.

Manage your workflow around ad-hoc inbound jobs from existing partners

What you’ll bring

5+ years designing and building websites, with a portfolio that shows both skills equally

Deep Webflow experience across CMS collections, interactions and custom code, at senior level and ideally on Lumos or other class-based framework

Comfortable working with third-party APIs unaided.

Strong Figma skills and the ability to present your work with reasons and justification for the decisions you've made

A real eye for typography, spacing and hierarchy. You can extend a brand direction, not just apply it.

Judgement across UI and UX: structure, hierarchy, responsive behaviour, accessibility

Time management at a Senior level for multiple jobs at any one point

The temperament for pace. You'd rather ship good work often than polish one thing for a quarter.

A strong, polite, confident and genuinely caring communicator. This is a must.

Development only. That's a separate senior creative developer role.
