Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Infrastructure to lead high‑quality civil infrastructure projects in the Rockhampton region. Take ownership from planning and mobilisation through to delivery and close‑out, working with leading technical specialists and professionals.

You’ll bring a Civil Engineering degree, strong project management and governance capabilities, and experience with roads, bridges or transport infrastructure. RPEQ status is highly regarded for this role.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects including roads/bridges or transport infrastructure.
• Experience in project development, construction delivery and contract administration.
• Strong governance, safety, quality and risk management understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Provide leadership across the project lifecycle from planning to close-out.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams to meet objectives.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, opportunities and dependencies early to keep projects on track.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cash flow, resources and commercial performance.
