Job summary

SEEK Australia is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor based in Sunnybank Hills, QLD. You will lead the warehouse team, plan daily workloads, and coordinate picking, packing, and dispatch to meet customer expectations.

This role requires a practical, detail-focused leader who can work under pressure and learn new systems quickly. You will also ensure WHS compliance and support Customer Service to maintain high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leadership role.
• Ability to lead and motivate a warehouse team.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing, inventory control, receipting and dispatch.
• Hands-on, practical approach and willingness to work alongside the team.
• Comfort working efficiently in a fast-paced environment and quick to learn new systems/processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Experience in electrical/steel/manufacturing/construction supply industries is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team.
• Plan daily workloads and allocate resources to meet operational priorities.
• Oversee picking, packing, receipting, put-away and dispatch, maintaining high accuracy and on-time performance.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, driver runs and transport requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock control and investigate inventory or dispatch discrepancies.
• Work closely with Customer Service to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation and stock security.
• Support training and development of warehouse employees.
• Ensure WHS requirements and safe work practices are followed at all times.
