Job summary

Design Quintessence is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operator to join our Auburn team in New South Wales. You’ll ensure efficient warehouse operations, manage stock levels, and coordinate picking, packing and dispatch of orders with forklift support.

A current forklift licence and a full unrestricted driver’s licence are required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values reliability and practical solutions,

Qualifications

• Hardworking
• Strong skills in stock control
• 5+ years’ experience in a busy warehouse environment
• Confident managing high SKU volumes and maintaining accurate stock
• Experience with stocktakes, cycle counts, receiving, picking, packing and dispatch
• Current forklift licence with demonstrated experience
• Full unrestricted driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Capable of lifting/moving items up to 25kg
• Organised, reliable and able to work calmly under pressure
• Takes ownership and can work independently without constant direction
• Excellent attention to detail and practical problem solving
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Safety-conscious and committed to a clean, organised warehouse
• Team player with a good sense of humour

Responsibilities

• Keep Auburn warehouse running smoothly and ensure customers receive the right products on time
• Maintain accurate stock levels, locations and labelling
• Pick, pack and dispatch orders from small cartons to large pallets
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet equipment
• Receive and store incoming stock
• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts
• Unloading containers and handling large/oversize items
• Organise freight and provide freight estimates when required
• Prepare customer orders and assist with customer pickups
• Complete local deliveries when required
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient warehouse
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency
• Support the team with general warehouse duties as required
