Aggreko plc in Sydney invites a commercially focused Business Development Manager - Utilities to drive growth across Australia. Based in Eastern Creek, you will engage with utility customers, developers and government bodies to expand power generation, renewables, BESS and microgrids.

The role requires 10+ years in utilities or energy and a strong grasp of NEM, plus travel across Australia. You will build a robust sales pipeline, shape strategic plans, and represent Aggreko at industry events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in utilities, energy, power generation, infrastructure, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of the National Electricity Market (NEM).
• Willingness to travel throughout Australia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the Utilities sector.
• Identify and secure new opportunities across power generation, renewable energy, BESS, microgrids, and grid support.
• Build relationships with utility, energy, water, and infrastructure customers.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, estimating, and proposal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
