Job summary

Enemix in Sydney, NSW is seeking a commercially sharp Business Development Manager to build relationships with utilities, gentailers, IPPs and battery suppliers, turning connections into signed deals. You will originate opportunities, run tenders and negotiate high-value contracts with long sales cycles in the Australian market.

You’ll shape how the business enters and grows in Australia, collaborating with engineering, delivery and legal teams to close deals and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive sales or business development experience within renewable energy, ideally BESS, inverters or hybrid systems.
• Experience with utility-scale or commercial/industrial storage projects (EPC, OEM or integrator side).
• Strong financial acumen and ability to build a business case.
• A network across Australian utilities, developers or EPCs.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with strategic accounts across the BESS and broader renewable energy landscape.
• Identify and qualify new business, from lead through to signed contract.
• Work cross-functionally to shape proposals, technical offers and pricing.
• Track market and regulatory trends to sharpen commercial strategy.
• Report on pipeline, revenue and margin, and represent the business at industry events.
