You will underwrite personal and group risk products, collaborate with technical underwriting team, and engage with advisers and external partners while staying compliant with regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of underwriting experience across all risk types.
• Ability to mentor other underwriters and provide technical guidance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with industry trends and underwriting policy development.

Responsabilités

• Assess insurance applications via desktop and telephone underwriting.
• Underwrite all product lines within delegated authority.
• Develop and monitor underwriting rules for automated engine.
• Provide coaching and mentoring within the team.
• Build relationships with advisers, reinsurers and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with Legal and Regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Claims, Product, Compliance).
