Job summary

AIG Insurance is seeking a Senior Underwriter for Financial Lines Management Liability in Sydney.

You will underwrite new and renewal business, nurture broker relationships, and contribute to growth in the Commercial Segment. You’ll work with the Management Liability Practice Lead, leverage actuarial insights, and mentor junior team members. ANZIIF Senior Associate qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record demonstrating strong sales skills and brokerage market knowledge.
• Analytical skills to manage profitability and broker relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to brokers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business in line with guidelines and authority.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new brokers.
• Lead complex underwriting projects, e.g., broker tenders.
• Mentor team members and share underwriting knowledge with colleagues.
• Deliver professional presentations to brokers and internal stakeholders.
