A growing Australian gold producer is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer for the Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia. The ideal candidate will oversee underground mining operations, ensure safety and efficiency, and manage planning and production tasks. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a new underground operation and be part of a dynamic team. Competitive salary and FIFO roster are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified Mining Engineer or equivalent.
• Previous experience with narrow vein underground gold mining.
• Competent use of Datamine, VentSim software or similar.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all planning and production tasks are executed safely.
• Management of day-to-day production activities.
• Develop mine plans and schedules for the mining operation.
