Job summary

Azooa invites a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of secure telephony and videoconferencing within the DFAT environment. You will work across internal teams and vendors to ensure reliable, compliant UC services.

The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, documentation, and continuous improvement of secure communications platforms in a government context.

Qualifications

• Senior-level engineer with Unified Communications expertise.
• 5+ years with VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP, XMPP).
• 5+ years with codecs (G711, G729, H.264/H.265).
• Experience with Cisco UC technologies (CUCM/Call Manager, Expressway, CMS/CMM, Telepresence/Webex endpoints).
• Experience with Microsoft Teams/Direct Routing and SBCs (AudioCodes, Ribbon, CUBE).
• Knowledge of ASD Essential 8 security framework.

Responsibilities

• Support, configure, and deploy telephony and videoconferencing infrastructure.
• Provide SME advice on secure UC solutions.
• Troubleshoot UC issues with NOC.
• Develop designs, SOPs, and as-built docs.
• Conduct validation and verification activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
