AECOM in Rockhampton is seeking an Associate Director for Transport Infrastructure – Civil Engineering to lead regionally significant transport and civil projects, develop client relationships, and mentor team members while delivering design and planning work.

You’ll have a civil engineering degree with RPEQ and 12+ years’ experience in government or council projects, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of Australian Standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with RPEQ and ideally 12+ years experience in consultancy, local Council or State Government.
• Extensive design and/or project management experience on civil infrastructure and transport projects for government or councils.
• Proven knowledge of Australian Standards and applying technical knowledge in delivery of projects.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lead collaboratively, develop new client relationships and maintain networks.

Responsabilités

• Lead general civil work including road design and urban precinct planning for government and private clients.
• Act as Project Manager / Technical Lead on a range of projects, including business development and bidding for civil infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineers across Australia to deliver transport design services.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, manage financial reporting on projects.
• Contribute to team and business planning and stakeholder collaboration.
