Lead and manage complex projects, build client relationships, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with national experts to create sustainable, resilient solutions for government and private clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with RPEQ
• 12+ years experience in consultancy, local Council or State Government Department
• Extensive design and/or project management experience with State Government or local council civil infrastructure and transport projects
• Proven knowledge of Australian Standards and applying technical knowledge to deliver projects
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal/external, client-facing networks

Responsibilities

• Lead general civil work including road design and urban precinct planning projects for government and private sector clients
• Act as Project Manager / Technical Lead on a range of projects, including business development and bidding for civil infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with engineers across Australia to deliver transport design services on various projects
• Partake in Team Leader responsibilities, mentoring junior staff and overseeing financial reporting on projects
• Contribute to team and wider business planning with stakeholders
