Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier III Network Operations and Maintenance Engineer to support WAN/LAN networks and incident resolution. You will act as SME for WAN/LAN technologies, manage fault and performance, and coordinate with configuration and implementation teams.

The role requires TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and extensive experience configuring and troubleshooting boundary protection and routing/switching equipment. On-site in an enterprise environment, with potential after-hours involvement.

Qualifications

Requires TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
16 years of combined work history and education (Doctorate + 8 years, etc.).
IAT Level 2 information assurance requirement.
Expertise configuring boundary protection devices (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Forcepoint).
Experience with Juniper/Cisco routers and switches; OSPF, BGP, VPNs, VRFs, MPLS.
Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM; MS Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Support O&M activities and administer LAN/WAN networks.
Monitor network performance; configure/test hardware and software.
Assess user requests and advise on technical approach to meet requirements.
Perform tier 3 troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Provide fault and performance management; resolve network troubles.
Coordinate with configuration management; analyze network characteristics and optimize Topology.
