Job summary

Leidos is seeking an IT Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administrator experience to join our team supporting a Federal Intelligence Agency contract in Alice Springs, Australia. The role focuses on Tier 2 support for a large enterprise spanning multiple security enclaves in a hybrid Windows/Linux environment.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, with a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (or a Master's with 6+ years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• Active Directory Administration experience.
• DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP proficiency.
• Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012/2016 experience.
• Linux operating systems familiarity.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (ServiceNow, NETS).
• ITIL v3 or higher.

Responsibilities

• System Administrative duties including Windows and Linux workstation management on physical and virtual environments.
• Troubleshoot application functionality, crashes, and performance issues.
• Investigate user performance and coordinate with external teams to improve UX.
• Provide Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications.
• Offer remote end-user desktop support.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with short-term workarounds and long-term fixes.
• Communicate effectively with diverse teams for service desk escalations.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Provide initial triage and incident notifications.

Leidos is seeking an IT Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administrator experience to join our team in support of a Federal Intelligence Agency contract located in Alice Springs, AUS. Primary responsibilities include providing Tier 2 support of maintaining multiple large Enterprise environment that spans CONUS and OCONUS boundaries. The supporting infrastructure includes multiple Microsoft based networks spanning multiple security enclaves within a hybrid (Windows & RHEL) environment.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

• System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVD and physical
• Troubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance
• Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience
• Assist customers with Tier2 incident resolution for Linux and windows applications.
• Provide remote end user desktop support
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions.
• Responds to escalated service desk/team requests.
• Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Willingness to provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents

Clearance Requirements

• Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph with current investigation within the last 5 years.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or a Masters Degree and 6+ years of experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree are acceptable.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required
• Active Directory Administration
• DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP
• Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016,
• Application Troubleshooting such as Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer
• Linux Operating system
• Understanding of Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process
• ITIL v3 or higher
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
• Hardware/Software Troubleshooting
