Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Thermal) to lead post-sales engineering reviews and provide technical leadership for major projects in Australia and New Zealand. The role focuses on critical cooling infrastructure, HVAC integration, and ensuring compliant, cost-effective deployments across partner networks.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years engineering experience in mission critical cooling infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC industry and products.
• Good leadership and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend documentation hand-over from Pre to Post-Sales for won or highly likely projects.
• Ensure buildability and budget compliance from the Document Package.
• Review proposals from compliance through to commissioning and hand-over, including training and documentation.
• Act as technical authority for engineering decisions and design philosophies throughout projects.
• Coordinate with partners, contractors and vendors to ensure cost-effective, technically sound solutions.
