Job summary

Crown Resorts in Perth seeks a Head Technical Operator – Lighting to lead in-house lighting for theatre productions. You will coordinate the BOH lighting team, manage rostering, recruitment, training and ensure high service quality and safety compliance.

The role requires a tertiary lighting qualification, 5+ years senior lighting experience, strong Excel skills, and staff supervision capabilities. Occasional outside-hours work is expected with certificates such as Working at Heights and White

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in specialised field (Lighting)/Technical Theatre or similar.
• Minimum 5 years senior technical lighting experience with emphasis on theatre stage productions.
• Experience in rostering, record-keeping and administrative functions.
• Strong computer skills with high proficiency in Excel.
• Staff supervision, recruitment, induction and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-house lighting resources and BOH lighting team.
• Recruit staff and maintain records, training and assets.
• Ensure high quality service, safety and compliance in theatre operations.
• Roster creation and management; supervise staff performance and scheduling.
