Job summary

Crown Resorts’ Theatre division seeks a Theatre Head Technical Operator – Lighting to lead and coordinate our theatre lighting resources for shows, ensuring high technical standards and reliable rostering. You’ll work closely with the Theatre Technical Manager and BOH lighting team to deliver world‑class productions in a fast paced environment.

You will recruit, train and supervise staff, maintain records and assets, and uphold safety and compliance across back of house operations, while

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Lighting/Technical Theatre or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years senior technical lighting experience with theatre productions.
• Experience in rostering, records management and administrative tasks.
• Strong computer skills with Excel proficiency.
• Staff supervision, recruitment and training experience.
• Commitment to OH&S, equal opportunity and ethical practice.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-house lighting resources and BOH lighting teams.
• Act as senior contact for Theatre lighting operations.
• Assist with staff recruitment and rostering.
