Production Resource Group (Australia) Pty Ltd – Southbank VIC is seeking an experienced team member to join Crown Resorts, Melbourne-based operations, focusing on water quality management for pools and water features, plus plant room maintenance.

The role includes morning or afternoon shifts, with weekend work possible, and involves maintenance of water treatment systems, signage, and architectural lighting within Crown Melbourne. Training is provided and progression is possible.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing water quality in aquatic facilities or venues.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and maintain consistency.
• Team player or capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication with Crown staff, management, contractors and guests.
• EWP (Scissor Lift) and Safe Work at Heights tickets preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of pools, spas, water features, plant rooms and water treatment systems.
• Perform water testing, chemical dosing, and water treatment activities.
• Carry out operational maintenance as required.
• Inspect and maintain signage, lighting systems and production equipment.
• Operate and maintain the Gas Brigades.
• Respond to maintenance requests and operational calls.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance and inspections.

Crown Resorts, Melbourne Operations Team

PRG is a leading provider of production lighting, rigging, video, and LED screen services across Australia and internationally.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated team member to join our dedicated Crown Resorts, Melbourne-based operations team. This team is responsible for Water Quality Management, plant & equipment maintenance and operations for water features, pools, and spas throughout Crown Melbourne, operation and maintenance of the Gas Brigades, signage and architectural lighting maintenance, and ad hoc production services work.

This role involves working morning or afternoon shifts, which may be scheduled on any day of the week, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of pools, spas, water features, plant rooms, and water treatment systems
• Perform water testing, chemical dosing, and water treatment activities
• Carry out operational maintenance as required
• Inspect and maintain signage, architectural and production lighting systems / equipment
• Operate and maintain the Gas Brigades
• Respond to operational calls and maintenance requests
• Complete routine preventative maintenance and inspections

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

• Previous hands-on experience managing water quality in aquatic facilities, venue maintenance or a similar technical role (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to take accurate measurements consistently
• A logical approach to problem-solving and maintenance tasks
• The ability to work as part of a team, or independently, with limited supervision
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with Crown staff, management, contractors, and guests
• A proactive, reliable, and punctual work ethic
• Physical fitness, agility and stamina, able to walk considerable distances throughout the Crown complex
• Competent use of tools, equipment, and maintenance systems
• Comfortable working at heights, when required
• EWP (Scissor Lift) and Safe Work @ Heights tickets preferred but not essential

Training & Development

Candidates with relevant experience are preferred, however PRG is also interested in hearing from motivated individuals looking to develop their skills in these specialised fields. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and progression within the role.
