Job summary

Bailey Abbott Pty Ltd is seeking a Test Manager to lead quality and testing across a large ICT program in Darwin. You will manage testing services, ensure comprehensive test plans, and collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality project outputs.

The role requires demonstrable Test Management experience, team leadership, and a strong understanding of testing methodologies. This is a Darwin-based position with a 12-month contract and close interaction with stakeholders across vendors

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as a Test Manager / Senior Test Lead on a large ICT program.
Led teams to deliver testing services in a program setting.
Expert knowledge of quality and testing management methodology, techniques and frameworks.
Ability to lead stakeholders and review project test plans and scripts.

Responsibilities

Make continuous improvements to the speed and coverage of delivery of testing outcomes.
Be accountable for the quality test plans, test documentation, test cases and test outcomes for the program in close collaboration with all stakeholders including third party vendors.
Lead a team of permanent and contract staff in the delivery of required services.
Work with the quality and testing team members to prioritise test work packages across projects.
Oversee and advise on project level resource planning and management.
Oversee and proactively manage all issues that impede test efforts.
Work with senior stakeholders.
