Great Southern Bank in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to lead testing and automation across our Workflow & Intelligent Automation platforms. You will combine hands-on testing with automation expertise, contributing to continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.

You’ll work within a cross-functional Scrum environment, designing and executing automated test strategies, integrating testing into CI/CD, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify risks and ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Test Analyst, Automation Tester or similar, with hands-on automation
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites across web, API and integrated systems
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium (Java) or Playwright
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated testing into build/release pipelines
• Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development practices and tools such as Cucumber/Gherkin/TestNG
• Experience with API and service testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman
• Strong understanding of end-to-end web application testing, including cross-browser and responsive behavior
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira/Zephyr
• Exposure to workflow/RPA/low-code automation platforms is a plus
• Degree in IT-related discipline or equivalent

• Design and execute high-quality manual and automated testing
• Build and maintain automated test suites across web, API and integrated systems
• Test end-to-end solutions across multiple systems, services and data sources
• Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve quality and delivery
• Manage defects through their lifecycle and ensure proper prioritisation
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify risks
• Drive continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools and processes
• Champion a quality mindset and help others build testing capability
