Job summary

Westpac Group in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, is seeking a Software Automation Engineer to design and implement robust automation frameworks for enterprise applications. You will automate testing, validate data migrations, and collaborate with engineers, architects, BAs and delivery teams to resolve complex challenges.

The role is full-time, hybrid, and focused on improving testing efficiency, CI/CD practices, and leveraging AI agents to accelerate test data generation and script creation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and improving automation frameworks for enterprise apps.
• Hands-on with TypeScript, Java, Python, Selenium, UFT, API testing or similar.
• Experience using SQL/MySQL to analyse data, validate outcomes and investigate defects.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps in testing.
