Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Principal Delivery Lead (Telecommunications) to lead complex network delivery programs and influence key customer outcomes across critical telecommunications infrastructure in NSW.

You will act as the primary interface between customers, engineering teams and field resources, driving planning, governance and execution of delivery programs while ensuring high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in telecom engineering, delivery or network operations.
• Strong knowledge of optical and microwave transport networks, Carrier Ethernet, SDH.
• Proven experience leading complex customer-facing telecom projects or programs.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Candidates must reside in the Sydney metro area or be willing to relocate to Sydney, NSW.

About the role

As a Principal Delivery Lead (Telecommunications), you will provide technical leadership and end-to-end delivery oversight across a critical telecommunications network domain, ensuring high-quality outcomes for both customers and the business.

Additionally, you'll:

• Act as the key interface between customers, engineering teams, project stakeholders and field resources

About you

• Strong understanding of optical and microwave transport networks, Carrier Ethernet, SDH, and related transmission technologies
• Demonstrated experience leading complex customer-facing telecommunications projects or programs
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Qualifications in Telecommunications, Engineering, ICT, Project Management or a related discipline are highly regarded
• Candidates must currently reside in the Sydney metropolitan area or be willing to relocate to Sydney, NSW
