eHealth Queensland is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to support Secure Web Gateway (SWG) delivery and enterprise firewall initiatives within the Queensland Health environment.

You will work in a highly skilled team, providing technical direction, standardisation and support across enterprise infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance across systems while delivering on time and within performance criteria.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction, standardisation and support of enterprise infrastructure.
• High level understanding and working knowledge of relevant technology domains.
• Knowledge and certification in CyberArk PAS solutions is a plus.

• Promotes and utilises appropriate IM/ICT standards, methods and tools, consistent with enterprise architectures and project deliverables.
• Coordinates the build, documentation and implementation of technical solutions with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks
• Installation and configuration of software, hardware and/or equipment
• Maintains knowledge of technical specialties and provides sound advice and recommendations
• Support project deliverables and enterprise-level standards and procedures
• Assess, analyse, develop, document and implement complex IM/ICT changes and evaluate risks
• Provide change management, capacity planning, incident and risk management and continuity planning using ITIL best practices

Take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity within eHealth. The Cyber Security Program is responsible for delivering information security priorities to enable modern healthcare delivery whilst maintaining network security. The program requires a Senior Technical Specialist to support the delivery of Secure Web Gateway (SWG) ensuring the technical deliverables are completed successfully within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced health service delivery. This role will assist in the implementation of Enterprise Firewalls and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solutions at Queensland Health.

What you'll do

• Promotes and utilises appropriate IM/ICT standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures effective application of these on project deliverables.
• Coordinates the build, documentation and implementation of technical solutions with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks
• Installation and configuration of software, hardware and/or equipment
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of technical specialties and provides sound advice and recommendations regarding their application
• Support the development, publication, implementation and compliance of project deliverables and related standards and procedures at an enterprise level
• Undertake the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of complex IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of specific components in proposed implementations
• Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably in the ITIL framework.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

• Proven ability to participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction, standardisation and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focused organisation. (SFIA Code: ARCH 5; METL 5)
• High level understanding and working knowledge of relevant technology domain (SFIA: TECH 5)
• Palo Alto Secure Web Gateway (SWG) Solutions;
• Network Security and Firewall Management;
• Microsoft and Unix Server Management
• Windows 10
• Demonstrated skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements. (SFIA: METL 4).
• Ability to work individually and within a high performance team with time critical tasks and complex deliverables (SFIA:PRMG 4) (NHS Self-Management) (NHS Collaborative Working)
• Excellent communication, liaison and negotiation skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of clients and stakeholders (SFIA: RLMT 4).
• Knowledge and certification in CyberArk's PAS Solution will be highly regarded.
